God’s Bounty of Blessings in His Creation

The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds has come, and the voice of the dove is heard in our land.”
Song of Solomon 2:12
The garden–the fields–the meadows and the valleys, smile in renewed beauty. In rich profusion sweet flowers show their lovely heads. In varied hue they charm the eye–with delightful fragrance they regale the sense. Earth seems again to bloom in Eden’s loveliness–and melody is heard throughout the air. The happy songsters warble in the branches. From trees and shrubs around sweet harmony resounds. One note fixes rapt attention. The plaintive dove utters her melting song. Thus universal joy prevails.__Henry Law

The gardens are in bloom and I am reminded as I stroll through them of God’s bounty of blessings bestowed upon us in this life and the beauty of His creation that He surrounds us with. We are often so busy that we do not pay close attention to the glory of sky in all of its lovely shades or hear the birds sing, the sound of water dancing, the aroma of the rose or flowers, the loveliness of music and the rest and peace that God gives us in all of these things. In our Promise Gardens this year, the theme is “resting” in God’s creation and the lovely things He has given us to so richly enjoy. Come and taste and see that the Lord is good…take a turn around our gardens with us and be delighted in your God for His always abounding grace and beauty … Promise Gardens
