Evangelicals Endeavor to Redeem the Vote

Bill Sammon has an interesting article posted in The Washington Times today.
“In the year 2000, 4 million evangelicals did not go to the polls,” Mr. Dobson said in a recent speech that will be broadcast next week. “Twenty-five million Christians of various stripes — Catholics, mainline, other perspectives — did not register. “That is an outrage,” he added. “And it must not happen again.”
Brethren, this is important. How can it be that we have forgotten our responsibility and direction for the good of our families and nation? To read the complete article: http://washingtontimes.com/national/20041019-123226-2184r.htm

Two Weeks Left

“And the king’s servants said to the king, “We are your servants, ready to do whatever my lord the king commands.” II Samuel 15:15
There are 2 weeks left! Are we ready to do what our King commands? If we mean business with our Lord in following Him and obeying His Word, we will use that knowledge by fighting the good fight of faith in exercising our God-given responsibility to vote and encourage our brothers and sisters to do likewise. We are the answer to the polls, to the debates, to the voting blocks, and we can by God’s mercies and sovereign grace put our President, George W. Bush back into office for the good of our nation and the world. Do not be “unwise but understand what the will of the Lord is” and that is to re-elect the man who God has raised up for His purposes to lead us as our President for the next 4 years. Our vote counts and we know that in the end it is up to us and if we do our biblical and solemn duty to vote, George W. Bush will be re-elected as our President for the next four years. Be a “doer of the Word” and “not a hearer only.” Get up, get out and vote and encourage your Christian brethren to do likewise. There are more of us than them and God has already given us the victory. Be steadfast and unmovable and you will be as Joshua “of good success.”
